The project “Flower Song” takes the form of a short book of poetry “Cvetna popevka” by Dragutin Domjanić, accompanied by original illustrations. The collection is entirely dedicated to flowers and plants in bloom, while the theme was chosen because of a personal connection to the author’s home region and memories of time spent with their grandmother.

The book was made entirely by hand using Coptic binding, while the pages were laminated to achieve the desired thickness and tactility. It exists as a single copy, and all illustrations were painted by hand in watercolour.

By bringing together poetry, memory and craftsmanship, the project creates an intimate and unique object in which content, material and technique form a coherent whole.
