The project “Nest” is an inclusive sensory DIY play kit designed for children aged 3 to 6 and their caregivers. It explores how graphic design can encourage creativity, learning and meaningful parent-child interaction through hands-on activities. Inspired by sensory learning, storytelling, nature-based play and the principles of inclusive design, “Nest” supports open-ended exploration rather than outcome-driven learning.

The project was developed to create opportunities for children and caregivers to learn, make and discover together. Through a series of interactive activities, it fosters curiosity, imagination, problem-solving and emotional connection, while remaining adaptable to different developmental needs and learning styles. The concept is built on the idea that meaningful learning emerges from shared experiences and active participation.

Alongside the play kit, the project includes a complete visual identity system encompassing branding, illustration, packaging design, an activity book, website design, promotional materials and supporting products. Through its playful visual language and engaging user experience, “Nest” demonstrates how graphic design can move beyond communication to create inclusive, educational and emotionally meaningful experiences for children and families.
