Become the designer of your own ceramic objects at the Morra Ceramics workshop as part of Zagreb Design Week.
During the two-hour workshop, participants will hand-build either a set of two cups or one cup and a plate using the pinching technique. Working directly with clay, without moulds or predefined models, each participant will create a unique object of their own.

Through the making process, participants will explore the relationship between form, function, texture and personal expression, creating objects that are not only functional but also have their own visual identity. Once shaped, the pieces can be further personalised with colours and details.

No previous experience is required, and all materials, tools and professional guidance are provided. After the workshop, Morra Ceramics will take care of glazing and two firings, and participants will be able to collect their finished pieces at a later date.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in experiencing design through material, process and making – from complete beginners to enthusiasts of ceramics, art and contemporary design.
