The project “Miner’s Luck” is a contemporary packaging design for the drink “Slivovka Sour”, created to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Slovenian sculptor Stojan Batič. Connecting Trbovlje’s rich mining heritage with youth culture, the project introduces a canned cocktail made from 100% authentic Trbovlje plum brandy.
The visual identity brings new life to Batič’s mining-themed artworks. By combining hand-drawn reproductions of his works, custom typography, and organic graphic elements, the design creates distinctive labels that unite artistic heritage with a contemporary design language.
The final product is conceived as an accessible cultural toast, inviting younger generations to experience and connect with the artistic legacy of Trbovlje. In this way, the project becomes more than a packaging design for a drink; it offers a contemporary way of linking local identity, art, and everyday culture.
