The First Seventy Scouting Tales

Project
“The First Seventy Scouting Tales” celebrates 70 years of the Scout Association of Slovenia through portraits of 70 volunteers. A consistent grid forms the framework of the book, while each story occupies a unique space within it, reflecting individuality as part of a shared scouting identity.
The project portrays a values-based community in which people are appreciated for their authenticity and contribution. Both structured and playful, the design combines written narratives, archival photographs, cut-out elements and a colour palette derived from official scout neckerchiefs.
The visual system embodies the movement’s balance between responsibility and joy, tradition and adaptability.
