Bookend — Between the Letters

Project
The “Bookend – Between the Letters” project is inspired by the idea of reading between the lines and searching for meanings that are not explicitly written. The concept begins with a symbolic exploration of the text’s essence and its deconstruction, through which each reader develops a personal interpretation of what they have read.
Letters formed the starting point for the bookends and were separated from their original purpose through bending, cutting and breaking. By experimenting with letterforms and adapting them to the functional requirements of the object, the author focused on deconstructing the letter H.
The result is a set of functional bookends that users can rearrange into different compositions, creating a changing relationship between the objects, the books and the surrounding space.
