The exhibition titled “Two Decades of Design (1970-1990)” showcases key cultural moments in Bosnian history during the period of Yugoslavia. Bosnian design in this period experienced an expansion thanks to the growth of popular culture.

The exhibition encompasses six thematic units: film, music, publishing, sport, theatre, and fine art. Each unit is presented through a timeline of major events, with the most significant moments displayed via physical triggers that activate an AR application to display additional information. Each key moment features a radial menu that invites visitors to shape their own learning path about each individual event. After selecting the desired chapter, the visitor sees an AR information card containing textual, audio, video, and photo material or illustrations that further inform about the chapter.

The project represents an adaptable system capable of displaying a wide range of materials and which can be set up in various spaces, both outdoors and indoors. For example, it was installed in a 10x10 metre space belonging to the Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts Sarajevo. The project represents the use of multimedia narration in exhibition design and information communication, with minimal cognitive load and maximum information input, based on the cognitive theory of multimedia learning.
