Fashion Borders

Project
Project “Fashion Borders” (FABO) is a four-year interdisciplinary research project conducted by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology. It aims to increase the visibility of Croatian fashion and encourage public dialogue about fashion as a cultural, social and economic expression of identity.
A website was developed to transform the project’s research content into a dynamic digital repository for researchers, students and fashion professionals. The FABO team uses the platform to publish fashion news and continuously document project activities. Built on a custom content management system, the website enables independent content management and allows the repository to expand as the project develops.
The visual identity reflects the project’s understanding of fashion borders not as limitations, but as spaces of negotiation and exchange. The logo reinterprets borders as points of connection, while the minimalist, editorial design system balances academic rigour with the visual sensibility of the fashion field.
