Theatre Posters

Project

The project “Theatre Posters” was developed within Teatar K., a student amateur theatre that serves as a space of experimentation and free expression. Drawing on the richness of stage design and the diverse aesthetics of individual performances, it explores how elements of the theatrical world can be translated into the field of visual communication.

Fabric taken from the set and costume design of each performance is used as the central visual motif. In this way, the posters preserve a material trace of the stage and its atmosphere, transforming part of the theatre experience into an autonomous graphic element.

Handmade interventions on the fabric intentionally depart from complete digital control, leaving room for imperfection, spontaneity and the physical act of making. This approach reflects the immediacy and experimental character of Teatar K., while also emphasising the camp sensibility of the performances through pronounced textures, colours and the theatricality of the visual language.
