Moe & CrnJak

Project
The premium editions „Moe & CrnJak” by the Plešivica winery Dobra Berba show how a young winery can build its brands from unexpected starting points. The idea of gradually revealing the hidden became the conceptual foundation of the visual identity for this premium line.
The name of each wine is concealed within a geometric pattern that at first appears to be an abstract graphic form. Only when the viewing angle changes does the name gradually emerge from the network of lines, turning the label into a moment of discovery and interaction. The minimalist visual language further reinforces this effect.
The tactile finish follows the same logic: embossed elements of the geometric pattern translate the visual experience into touch and open up a new level of perception. In this way, the visual identity combines a refined graphic form with the experience of gradual discovery, making the label an integral part of the wine experience.

ma nu. creative & design studio, based in Zagreb and on the island of Brač, was founded by designers Dora Bence and Romana Kajp. The studio develops each project as a complete visual system, from research and concept development to production and final implementation, guided by the belief that the strongest solutions emerge when idea, content and execution are considered with equal care.
Its work spans visual identity, packaging design, publications, exhibitions and spatial communication. The studio’s approach is shaped by experience in creative direction within agency environments and by work in design education, where strategic thinking, individual expression and production expertise naturally complement one another.
ma nu. focuses on projects in culture, heritage, tourism and contemporary branding, using design as a tool for interpreting content, shaping identity and creating experiences. Regardless of medium or format, the concept guides the process, while the form emerges from the content and its context.
