The visual for “Nobody Weird Like Me” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers was created as part of the Visual Communication Design 2 course, under the mentorship of Assistant Professor of Art Dino Milovčić. The work was created by student Ema Silić.

The solution draws on the energy and visual language of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers in the late 1980s, when their sound and performances were characterised by raw punk-funk energy, chaos and unconventionality. Intense colours, collaged fragments and a distorted portrait convey the song’s sense of impulsiveness, freedom and controlled madness, while emphasising the acceptance of personal difference as part of one’s identity.

The work combines analogue and digital techniques, including collage, digital image manipulation and layered overlapping of elements. This multi-layered approach reinforces the overall impression of dynamism and chaotic energy, creating a striking visual interpretation of the musical source.
